First things first, I am super excited to have our garage makeover featured on the Barn Light Electric blog today!
Now, back to vacay… when the littles tired of playing inside on this rainy morning, we headed out to La Cocina for a delish Mexican feast.
And by the late afternoon the sun came out just long enough to squeeze in some poolside fun. The beach was so rough today that the water was closed. *womp womp*
And while the littles insisted on the requisite Sugar Shak visit…
… I opted for a New Orleans Snoball. These are the real deal, my friends. Oh, how I’ve missed my favorite Tigers Blood Sour Cherry concoction over the last year.
We’re planning to eat supper in our PJs on the porch tonight. Even a rainy day is better at the beach :-)

Congrats on the feature over at Barnlight! Way to go! Have fun at the beach..rain or no rain, it is always better there (especially while I am trying to get a room at a school ready for the first day…boohoo.)
