I mentioned in my Disney Cruise Tips & Tricks that I forged postcards from Mickey to the littles and secretly mailed them from Castaway Cay. Well, lookie what arrived in our mailbox last week!!!
The littles were positively thrilled to have each received a postcard in the mail. From Mickey Mouse, of all people! Such a fun, easy and cheap little surprise that just required a teensy bit of pre-planning.

My friend gave me a great Disney idea that I haven't seen online yet. She took a white photo mat for each kiddo, along with colored Sharpie markers, in a ziploc baggie. Characters signed the mat instead of an autograph book. When they returned, she framed the mat with a great photo and displayed it in each kiddo's room. I think this is a neat alternative to an autograph book that me get stowed away in the closet or attic.
