I started out a few years back using simple strips of paper with the questions printed on them. Last year I upgraded them to nice cardstock with a vintage turkey image. Most of the questions are geared towards adults and young adults, but there is no reason why littles can’t play along. I know mine enjoy just hearing the answers!
You can find my initial list as a free printable here. And I now have even more questions in the card format as an instant download for $2.50 in my etsy shop HERE! In addition to using Turkey Talk for your Thanksgiving dinner, it would be great at family suppers all month long and would make a lovely hostess or teacher gift!!
Can y’all believe turkey day is just two weeks away?!? The holidays are upon us!!!!!!!!!!
xoxo
PS. I get asked about this china every year. The white plates are Butler’s Pantry by Lenox and the acorn plates were from Williams Sonoma the year we got married (2002).
I love your Turkey Talk idea – this year our Thanksgiving has grown to include 4 people (so far) who normally don't attend. This would be a perfect ice breaker! xo
What a great tradition!!
Oh, I love this! I have a book similar that we use at Christmas (The Christmas Conversation Piece). "Games" like these really allow you to learn more about the ones we love. Sometimes the answers are so funny & unexpected, sometimes rather sad. Thanks for offering these cards for Thanksgiving! On a side note, I don't know if you received my email, but I wanted to let you know I received the Disney necklace, which I won from your blog, & absolutely LOVE it!!! Now, another trip to Disney is in order to wear this, although I've sported it around the house too. It's so much fun to wear! Thank you again & have a great week. Teresa
What a fabulous idea! I might have to get these this year for the fam! Happy weekend pretty girl! xoxo
Amanda, I love this tradition and plan on doing this for Thanksgiving this year.
