Sister’s Snippets: Some Beach Sneak Peek

I mentioned very early this year that Sister and her Mister are building a second home down at Tybee beach. At long last, I was SO excited to get a tour and cannot believe I’m finally able to share a little sneak peek.

I promise to do a full tour with all the sources and details, but at the moment she’s putting all the boys to sleep in the bunk room and I’m going by memory. I’ll share everything I DO know and will fill in the rest later. The exterior is Seapearl, the doors are Dovetail, the ceiling is Sea Salt (all by ben moore) and the lights are Circa Lighting and Pace Lighting. The front porch will be fully screened, which is a necessity in Savannah.

You walk in from the porch into the living room and kitchen. It’s open, airy and full of lovely details! The floors throughout the house are COREtec Walden Ash, the lighting in here is Ballard Designs and the wall color is White Dove and trim is Simply White (throughout house).

The lovely light over the breakfast nook is by RH Baby & Child. The island is a factory finished but a close match is Gauntlet Grey.

The crowning jewel of the house just may be the powder room. It’s just SO GOOD. The paper is from Spoonflower.

I also adore the mudroom. I mean, it’s no secret that built in lockers are my jam.

The main level also includes the master suite.

Moving upstairs, there is a bunkroom that will house two built in end-to-end twin beds, each with a trundle. This is my boys room!!! eek!!! Paint in here is SW Mindful Grey.

Jay Bird also has a room on this level, that can be used for guests when needed. He will have two twin beds.

And, of course, miss CeeCee has her very own room as well.

The hall bath will be for the littles. I adore the playful bold striped tile!

I literally cannot wait to lay my head in what will be the guest suite!!!

Don’t you just adore every detail?! I’ve been a little regretful at the fact that we won’t be making our annual family pilgrimage to our favorite Rosemary Beach for the first time in 10 years. But, I look forward to making many, many more memories here at Sister’s place: Some Beach on Tybee Island Georgia. After all, this is the beach on which we both grew up, and Daddy-O and Mother too, so it only seems right that our littles should do the same.

I’m literally beside myself with excitement to share the finished house. Trust me when I say she’s bought some amazing stuff to go inside. It’s all piled up in Mother’s dining room as I type!
xoxo

She has flawless taste, from all the pics I've seen of her house, so I cannot wait to see what she does with her 2nd house. It's beautiful so far!!! I'm soooo jealous!! How cool for her littles to grow up with their very own beach house!
