Happy St. Patrick’s Day

I hope y’all had a gloriously green St. Patrick’s Day!!  While today is a big holiday in Savannah, it was business as usual here in Atlanta.  I was so happy to wear one of my new Lilly dresses for the occasion.  It has a lot of green and just the right amount of orange to pull off one of Mother’s bracelets!

When I was waiting in line for my lunch today at work I looked down and couldn’t resist taking a quick pic of the Georgia Green glass floors at the Coca-Cola World Headquarters.  Did y’all know that glass Coke bottles are called Georgia Green in a nod to the company’s origin?  Pretty neat!  It is embedded in the floors all over our campus and, if you are familiar with Atlanta, the walkway that runs over North Avenue from the Coke building is also made out of Georgia Green glass.

Anyhoo, since it was a work day and we are jetting off to lacrosse in a few, it was an early din din of corned beef sammies, carrots and mint oreos (if your’e wondering, those brownies are long gone).  While Daddy-O makes his own DELISH corned beef in the crock pot, I just get mine sliced at the Publix deli.  Add a little mayo, swiss and some rye bread and dinner is served.  No complaints from this crew!

  1. We enjoyed corned beef last night, too – but much too late, after baseball practice.

I did not know that about the floors. So pretty!
