Much to the littles’ delight, WE’VE BEEN BOO-ED! We came home from lax last week to find Buddy Boo in our yard with a bag of the most delightful Halloween treats. There were toys and a spooky pitcher and the coolest candy (think vampire fangs you could fill with “blood”) AND ice cold pumpkin beers for Mommy and Daddy. I don’t know who treated us to all of this fun, but know that you truly made our week!
It’s late in the game, but I am also so excited to share the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Buy a Boo fundraiser. It’s new things year and is really just ingenious. You buy a Buddy Boo yard sign for $25 and pick a friend to “boo” by placing the yard sign in their front yard. Add a little bag of treats (Dollar Tree is a great place to start) and you’re done. Then your friends can pass along a Boo to their friends, all while benefiting the patients at Children’s. Not only does the money go to a fantastic cause, but for every Boo purchased, a patient at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta will receive a “Buddy Boo” sign for their hospital door. There are a few delivery options available, but in most cases you will need to visit the site and select your neck of the woods to buy your boo and arrange to pick it up at a location near you. Visit BUY A BOO to learn more!
In other Halloween events, this past weekend we hosted our rotating neighbor dinner. It was the perfect fall night for breakfast for dinner so we cooked up pancakes and bacon on Honey’s outdoor griddle!! Add in donuts, cheese grits and an egg casserole and it was a true feast! One of my neighbors treated us to the MOST darling You’ve Been Boozed party favors for the adults!!! I was smitten before I even opened the box…
I think I squealed out loud. I mean HOW CUTE is this?!?! There was a little shot glass, a bottle of vodka and a syringe of grenadine.
The box is from Sweet P Parties and her site is ahhhh-dorable! So many cute ideas. I HAD to pass this one along.
With that, I have GOT to hit the Publix. Our grocery situation is in a dire state. AND Sister is bringing CeeCee and Bird over for a little after school Halloween soiree. For which I have done zip zilch nada nothing. Time to put the pedal to the metal.

I can’t wait to see what you put together for those four little goblins! :-)
Both of these ideas are adorable! So fun! Off to check out the party site… xoxo
So cute!! I have boo-zed a couple friends, but what I love most about this is that it benefits the children’s hospital. So very cool. Enjoy the afternoon – I know it will be perfect, like everything you do!
What a precious idea–love it! I’ll have to remember this for next year–love that it goes to a great cause! Going to check the websites out now! Have a great day! xoxo
Thanks for the shout out on my Boo-zed box. I’m glad you enjoyed it! Beth has told me all about you and hopefully we will meet one day soon!
