Home for the Holidays {Scenes from Savannah}

Before we head back home, I wanted to share the rest of the pics of our Christmas in Savannah.

The girls took long walks by the marsh and chatted, house stalked and laughed.  I am so lucky to have these three!

Mother fed us like Kings and Queens and, as always, I thoroughly enjoyed her massive selection of Christmas reads.

The weather was nothing short of spectacular.  Sunset on the marsh at home.

These two are thick as thieves.  They were literally inseparable.  They are so lucky to have each other.

Mother and I made time for a quick shopping jaunt downtown.  I love all of the historic homes and squares dressed for the holidays.  (This is an inn now but was oncethe funeral home where my great grandparents laid in rest.)

Sister’s puppy is very, very sick.  It is heartbreaking and we all just pray that she is not hurting.  She was diagnosed with canine meningitis and will not recover.  Whit loves animals so much and he stole moments like this every chance that he could.  Say a prayer for Stevie and Sister’s family if you can.  <3

I worked VERY hard at earning the Santa Mickey on emoji blitz.

The new stickers in Instagram stories are pretty entertaining as well.

Mother made from scratch chocolate cupcakes.  Mmmmm…..

And, as always, the littles kept us entertained the entire time.

We’re headed back home.  Happy trails to all of you traveling this week.

  1. When I saw Stevie in the background of your photos, I was really hoping she was doing okay. :-( I will keep all of you in my prayers…it’s just so sad.

  2. I’m just heartbroken for Sister and her family that sweet Stevie is sick. You mentioned she won’t recover but I hope they can make her comfortable and enjoy their time with her. I know they haven’t had her long but she seems like a real family member. Prayers for all their hearts.
