Honey spent new year’s eve cheering on the Yellow Jackets and then at the Alabama Washington game. The littles and I hunkered down at home with jammies, cartoons, and our Christmas puzzle so I really feel like everyone was pretty happy :-) We met up with him late that night at a fun little Family Pajama Party in the neighborhood!
The hosts did a really lovely job. They served breakfast for dinner with a waffle station and sweet and savory topping options. On the savory side, you could top with chicken fingers and a variety of sauces. And the sweet was nutella and fruit!! I made a plate of caramelized bacon at the last minute and it was a hit – as always.
Each hour she had a bag for the kids to open, which was really cute. Sometimes the bag had actual favors in it – like horns – and sometimes it was an activity. At 11PM the littles had a toast with milk and cookies. Super cute!
We left just after midnight with a sweet treat for the road.
I hope that you had a safe and happy New Years celebration! I kind of love that my littles make it to midnight in one piece these days… I get THREE kisses rather than just one :-)
Happy 2017!
