Last night as I was sitting in my living room catching up on some of my favorite rags, it occurred to me that other than slapping a few pics up on my House Tour page I’ve never really shared many of the rooms in the house. The living room is bright and sunny and frou-frou-ish and the sole room used primarily by me! Seriously, the littles only tear through here on their way to somewhere else and Honey doesn’t linger long in a room without a tele. So, it’s my quiet little book reading, wine drinking, girlfriend hanging happy space.
I literally squealed with delight when our armoire and two bookshelves from our last house fit perfectly between the two existing built-ins.

I love the way that bar with the gorgeous mirror is tucked behind those doors! The room is beautiful – and I think I have the same rug in my bedroom! By the way, I hope you get a surprise delivery too! Have a nice evening.

Such a gorgeous room … I love the soft color palette, but with the beautiful dark wood pieces! Your sentimental treasures are lovely, and I love the handsome armoire … adding the bar was genious!
So stunning. I love this room with the white walls and then the pops of blue and the dark wood. What a great idea making the inside of the armoire a bar area.
What a beautiful living room you have! I am in love with the armoire turned bar, the mirror is perfect for it! And I adore toile, the pillows that your mom made are gorgeous!!!
What a beautiful room! I love the settee and the sweet framed gowns. Everything is so pretty.

That is so beautiful… Its such a nice idea to have a room to ourselves… I have a room like that, just for me, and I was going to make it my office hang out space, like yours but in the mean time of getting the money to do it I completely changed my mind and am making it office/workout room now. Thanks for reminding me to take before photos!
Have a Great Week!

Fabulous post! Gorgeous living room! Great job. Thanks for sharing.
Hope to see you on my blog:)
What a great room! My living room before we moved was my spot for reading, visiting, relaxing, too. Many times my family would walk by looking for me and not even realize I was sitting right there! It wasn't a frequently used room by anyone else, which was a shame. Love how you were able to repurpose your armoire. What a great idea to turn it into a bar area.
What a gorgeous room! Your mom did a great job with the pillows–I need her for my living room:)
Thanks for participating in the It’s a Wrap Link Party at Artful Rising.

What an amazing transformation! This room is simply beautiful. I love the couch and your pillows. Is your mother willing to share how she made them? Everything is so well coordinated and how clever to hang a mirror in the armoire! Thanks for sharing your beautiful room.
