Remembering Disney {2011 Edition}

The littles have positively adored pouring through and sharing their finished Disney memory books with friends, with their classes and just with Honey and I nearly every single night.  I had the PCP help me choose pictures for the books, and we pasted in our Messages from Mickey and things like our Key to the World cards and Monorail Operator stickers.  I know it’s a stretch, but I hope these sweet souvenirs will help both littles remember our enchanting week in the most magical place on earth.

I am absolutely positively obsessed with making my way back to Disney.  So obsessed that I actually considered…very seriously…running the Disney marathon.  That should be laugh out loud funny to anyone that knows me.  I can’t remember the last time I ran.  Anywhere.  My foot wardrobe consists entirely of sandals, ballet flats and cowboy boots.  I’ve since resorted to all sorts of wheelin and dealin with Honey and think I’m making some progress.  A much better plan than a marathon.  But I digress…

  1. I stumbled upon your blog through your original Disney posts, and have been following you because I love your craftiness, and I have lived in ATL too (and miss it!)

    That said…you're not the only one considering the Disney Marathon!! I'm a total couch potato, but I figure if anything could convince me to run, it would be Disney-fied pump up music and running through the mouse's house. Haven't decided whether to do WDW or Disneyland, as I'm in California.

    Just saying…you could totally do it!! Thanks for your inspiring Disney posts, I can't wait to do a trip for future kiddos of my own.

  2. My family would be laughing just as hard if I informed them I planned to run a marathon! But Disney really is such a magical place. I joke around saying that we ended up missing out on our annual Caribbean trip last year because we went to Disney. But I actually loved it just as much as the kids did! I would go back in a second!

  3. I love Disney as well. I am always trying to figure out ways to get back to Disney. I would totally do the marathon. My brother ran it a few years ago and said it was the coolest experience. Thanks for sharing at DIYbyDesign.

  4. Those memory books are fanTAStic! What a great keepsake! I've never been to Disney, but I've only heard good things about it! Meanwhile, I totally don't understand people who run for fun…lol. Thanks for sharing at Shine On Fridays!

  5. I LOVE this idea! We did a Disney trip a few years ago, and had a little autograph book. Yours is SO adorable though. I really love how it turned out! Thanks for linking up at Shoe & Share, happy to have you!
