Starbucks Caramel Apple Cider

Okay y’all, what I’m about to reveal to you is single handedly the most valuable piece of information I’ve gleaned from the internet.  Ever.

You see, I have a slight, albeit seasonal, addiction to Starbucks Caramel Apple Spice.  So, imagine my excitement when I ran across this Starbucks hack on Pinterest.  And imagine my utter delight when I mixed it up and it was love at first sip!  I tell you what, it just might be even better than the original!

Starbucks Caramel Apple Spice
– 8 oz. apple juice (I use Apple and Eve because I stocked up on sale.)
– 3 pumps Starbucks Cinnamon Dolche syrup (This cost me $8 at Starbucks and included the pump.  I bought sugar free because they were out of regular, but I assure you it’s delish nonetheless.)
– 1 tsp. caramel sauce (I use the kind you’d put on ice cream.)
– Optional: whipped cream and caramel sauce to top (I don’t top mine but don’t let that stop you!)

Combine the apple juice and syrup.  Microwave until hot.  Stir in caramel sauce.  Swoon.

I believe it’s about that time…
xoxo

  1. Oh my gravy – am I every glad I was searching "Dixie" on the Pinterest tonight. A wonderful recipe AND a fabulous new blog to add to my reading list. Woo hoo!

  2. Pretty close! The only thing we do different at Starbucks (I work there) is three pumps to 12oz of AJ (4 to 16oz) and no caramel sauce stirred in, just drizzled on top of the whip. Otherwise perfect. Enjoy!

  3. Yup. I worked at Starbucks and that's it. I like fresh apple cider served hot with cinnamon schnapps in it. You can heat it in a coffee urn with some whole cloves and cinnamon sticks in the coffee filter for a crowd. It's a hit with kids and the adults can add the schnapps to theirs.
