It’s spring time in the South and y’all know what that means…baseball season is upon us! Yes folks, on the days when I’m not at the ball field watching the PCP and his daddy practice and play, I’m at home trying to keep the littles from crashing a ball through my kitchen window or scrubbing red clay out of every article of clothing we own (your tips and tricks for this would be much appreciated.) We’re a few games into our season and it’s shaping up to be another good one!
The PCP spends most of his time at third base, but I couldn’t resist sharing him at catcher. Y’all know, that’s the position his daddy played for the Yellow Jackets in college! (Is that hiney presh or what?!?)
John’s biggest hit of the night was not only a home run, but it also earned him the game ball!
There is nothing that makes me prouder than watching my boy try so hard at something he loves!
Honey’s got the car packed up and we’re hitting the road home. Watch out Savannah…we should be there by lunch!!!

Oh how I miss baseball. I grew up in a "nothing but baseball" family. All my children love soccer. It's not the same as a baseball game. I love watching them and they love soccer (thanks Dad) but I do miss a good little league game (and the hot dogs from the snack bar).
Have fun this season!!!!
So cute! We just started baseball for my 8 year old and t-ball for the 5 year old. My husband is coaching one and assisting the other so he will be quite busy this season. My neighbor just mentioned something she uses for the dirt stains so I will get back to you after I ask her the name again! Have fun in Savannah!

soak the pants in water as hot as you can get it and add in a scoop of oxiclean. let them soak about 20 minutes then rub a little lye soap on the stubborn stains, wash and the pants will look as good as new! we get stuck with white striped pants every year it seems :) good luck!!!
Your son is adorable. Enjoy the season!
Well there goes that wonderful boy John again. Not only does he do a great science project he's an ace at baseball. Wow What a kid! Good going there John. You are truly a winner!!!
