Savannah: More Fun in the Sun

Sister and her littles joined us down in Savannah and we hit the beach bright eyed and bushy tailed with our bigger crew!  The PCP brought along the skim board and picked right up where he left off last summer.  June 2013 563 copy June 2013 557 copy June 2013 546 copy June 2013 553 copy The little ones spent the afternoon in the sand, on the boogie boards, and splashing around in tide pools.  There was such a strong rip current in the little tide pool that we could float down them in no time flat.  Of course, there were still those terrible looking horseshoe crabs to dodge along the way :-) June 2013 539 copy June 2013 565 After lunch at the beach and washing off in the sprinkler in the yard (my littles bathe outside more often than not in the summer), we spent the evening bowling!  I signed them up for AMF’s Summer Unplugged bowling program where they get two free games a day all summer long and only have to pay for the shoe rental.  We love to bowl with silly names… meet Shootie, Mr. Awesome and Just Jay. June 2013 584 I think their eyes were closed before their heads hit the pillows tonight.  Would you believe we are already on week five of our ten weeks of summer!?!?! xoxo

  1. They all look like they are having a wonderful time. Your oldest is looking more and more like his daddy! We haven't bowled in ages. Might have to take a trip to the alley later in the week for old time's sake. I am sure the boys will sleep well after all the fun in the salt air and sand.

  2. Hey Amanda, can you tell me what beach this is? I am taking my daughters to Savannah this summer and the beach will be on their must-do list! We are also planning a ghost-walking tour, which already petrifies me!
