Back to the Beach

We spent our last full day with our toes in the sand soaking up the sun at the beach.  The boys played football, rode the gentle waves on their boogie boards and had numerous pirate battles in their sand castle forts.

My drink spikers from HKL Designs have gotten quite a workout this week :-)

We stopped by Sugar Shak for one final farewell.

We swam until we were completely waterlogged.

And we stopped by the sprayground around the corner from our house.

We kissed this sweet thing one gazillion times.

And then Mother and Daddy-O held down the fort so that we could have a double date.  We biked, rode and scootered over to George’s at Alys Beach.  It’s my very favorite restaurant in the area.

  1. I can tell you had a perfect week…everyone is still smiling. Welcome back to the "real world" now. I am so glad you had such a wonderful time. xo Diana

  2. It looks just perfect. The kids seem to be having a wonderful time!! I so liked the white top and shorts and, especially, the turquoise necklace! So nice to see such nice pictures of you both!! Joan

  3. Looks like a lovely vacation – if you have a minute, I would love to hear more about your choice of where to stay. We are planning a trip and don't know whether to choose Rosemary Beach or Seaside. We have 3 children – 15, 12 and 9. Thanks!

    1. We've never stayed in seaside – only done a day trip. It seems a little more crowded but does have a lot more shopping and dining. I don't think you could go wrong with either!
