How Glorious

We posed for family photos a few weeks back and, while the whole process of getting everyone dressed and smiling is always arduous, when they hit my inbox I am inevitably overcome with emotion.  I could not be more thankful, more grateful or more fulfilled for having these three in my life.

Filling the days of these two with smiles, laughter and unconditional love is a joy I couldn’t have imagined and a dream I couldn’t have dreamt eight short years ago.  How glorious!

The days can be long but the years are wistfully short.  Thank you Kristin Leigh Photography for forever capturing our boys, our family, at this precious and fleeting point in time.

  1. The one of the two boys oh ether is just precious! They are sooo cute! My husband freaks at the ost of our family photography but in my opinion you can't put a price on these fleeting moments in their lives…. Capturing them is magic!

  2. No way, I can't believe you photographed with Kristin, she is one of my oldest friends and a very near and dear family friend too! She takes ALL of our photos :-) Which location did you all use? I'm lining up Fall photos for my boys now. I've got anxiety just thinking about it because well, at 9 months and 3 years old, they are a mess! Beautiful!!

  3. I totally love that you still have your youngest in classic little boy clothes! They have SOOOOO many years ahead of them to wear jeans and trendy stuff. I cried real tears when I realized I couldn't order smocked bubbles past a size 2t (3 if u get really lucky!) for my daughter!

  4. "The days can be long but the years are wistfully short" What a wonderful quote, and so, so VERY true (my children are 30 & 27). Your boys are just precious, thank you for sharing them!

  5. What a wonderful family picture. Your youngest reminds me so much of our youngest when he was that age. People used to tell me he was pretty all the time. He grew up to be "handsome"…lol Wonderful post! xo Diana
