More Monograms

More monograms, you might ask? But of course!  Can one ever have too many?!?!  I purchased gorgeous hand made ruffled linen towels for my powder room and guest bathroom eons ago from Cottage and Cabin on etsy, all the while with the intent on having them monogrammed.  Well, I finally dropped them off with my girlfriend to have my custom monogram complete them!!

…and the white towels live in the guest bathroom.  The tone on tone monogram is subtle, but versatile and will never go out of vogue.

With that, I believe there is no towel left untouched in the W home!

  1. Classic elegance! I have an upcoming wedding I need a gift for and I LOVE the idea of monogrammed linen towels. The only linen towels I have ever used are little hemstitched fingertip towels, and I just pulled them out if I knew guests were coming & treated them with kid gloves.

How do you care for your linen towels? Do you run them through the dryer, and do you have to iron them? Thanks so much!!!!!!!

  2. Bama Girl – I am the worst person in the world to ask for laundry advise. But here goes… for these I just run them through the washer on cold and lightly iron them. For my linen napkins, I soak in oxy clean then wash on cold. I line dry them and then iron on high heat / high steam with starch. They are kind of a pain :-) xo

  3. A girl after my own heart ;-) I have 3 bags of things to take to my girlfriend down the street to be monogrammed today!! LOL I love the tone on tone. I haven't taken my plush towels yet because I was debating white on white or adding the tan so they would stand out a bit more.

  4. Amanda-
Love the monogram! Does the store in Savannah (I think it's four 11?) create the custom monogram then provide it for you electronically to use however you wish?

  5. I love the white ones. What color is the mono..ecru or tan??? Please iron them before they have any more photo shoots!!! You know how me and marm like things ironed!

  6. I love monograms on anything and everything. When my son was little I used to monogram the cuffs of his school shirts. I love towels and pillowcases and anything and everything monogrammed. Your towels are GORGEOUS!!!! xo Diana

  7. i completely agree about the tone on tone idea…always a classic. when i get around to re-doing my husband's bathroom with whites and greys, i'm going to use the tone on tone monograms for that room.

    love your towels…just gorgeous!

  8. Love the white towels! Is that your shower curtain in one of the pics? Where did u find it? Thanks! M

  9. Sarah – they will provide you with the embroidery file to use with anyone that monograms.

Sister – it is ecru. I am the worst with an iron. I thought they were supposed to look kind of wrinkly???

Diana – I love love love that!

M – the shower curtain is from the same etsy store that did the towels – link is up there in the post :-)
