I’ve had my St. Patrick’s Day door decor up for the last week or so!! Last year Mother and I made the shamrock door hanger out of screening material and a little paint. It was an easy project and Mother has made quite a few more since then. You can see all of the details here. I picked up the bunting a few years back at Party City (I think). I’m hoping to pick up a few more plants for my pots – the nursery was pretty lacking with the cold winter we’ve had here. (On the bright side, my exterminator said it might have killed off a lot of the cockroaches. One can only hope…) I can hardly wait to get to Savannah for all of the festivities!!! xoxo

I remember my mom sending Spanky's St. Patrick's Day t-shirts to me and my roommate one year(1982) in college. My roommate was from Upstate SC and had no idea what a big deal it is in Savannah. Belated birthday wishes!
Love the shamrock! Envious of your upcoming trip to Savannah. I need to make a trip soon. Especially now that I know where to find all the goodies via your Savannah posts ;-)
You and your mother are so smart! You did a great job on the shamrock door hanger. Thanks for sharing the tutorial. I remember reading it when you posted about it last year, I think!
Have fun in Savannah! My husband just ordered us some really cute St. Patrick's Day T-shirts from the Charleston T-shirt company online. We are heading down South to HHI for Spring Break at the end of the month and I can't wait to do some shopping in Savannah via your list of must stops!!
Cute!! Did you put that foil film from HD on your front door? I never noticed the reflection before…maybe they are just extra shiney?? I put it on my mine in a bronze foil for privacy.
Looks like your home is all set for St Patrick's Day. I hope you all have a wonderful time at the parades!
