Today I’m wishing my Daddy-O the happiest of father’s days. He was a generation ahead of his time in the way that he was so involved in our lives – he made our lunches, shopped with us for prom dresses, spent countless hours photographing our ballet recitals and cheerleading events and so on and so forth. He has always been the person most in life that I was afraid to fail and inspired to impress. I couldn’t love him more and I am so very glad that he’s mine! Happy Father’s Day, Daddy!! I hope that you are recovering in some peace and quiet after the tornado that is your daughter and grandsons just blew through for an entire week :-)
We are also celebrating Honey today!! He is our hero, our voice of reason, our provider and our caregiver. The littles and I love him to the moon and back, and I am so very thankful for not only the husband that he is, but for the father he became the day we welcomed little John to the world. After playing golf, we spent our afternoon together at the pool and then went out for a Mexican dinner and a little World Cup viewing. It was a great day full of things that Honey loves!!
