Our ball park pulled together an all star team to participate in a few tournaments this summer and Whit was beyond thrilled to join the 5U Lightening!!
The tournaments run with different rules, a larger field and big barrel bats – all of which are new from our regular season. Whit struggled a little with the heavier bat but was fierce in the field!!
Most importantly, the kids had a LOT of fun. This was my best attempt at getting “just one” good picture!
Come Sunday, we were all dragging and Whit was begging to just stay home (he is his father’s child when it comes to waking up with an alarm). I’m more thankful than ever that we spend more days than not completely unscheduled :-)
