We hit the road bright and early for a jump start on what is bound to be a blissful week in our favorite place on earth!!
We were packed and ready to go Friday night but thought traffic would be brutal trying to get out of town. But, it seems you just can’t win for losing when it comes to Atlanta gridlock. UGH! We met with this just as soon as we were south of the city.
It’s a good thing we stocked the car with brand new movies!! The littles laughed hysterically to Lilo & Stitch 1 and 2 and then shocked me by picking Cinderella next. We had about an hour left in the drive when that one was over so, rather than starting a new movie, I asked which one of the three they wanted to watch again. Color me doubly shocked with they picked Cinderella.
Once in Savannah, we got straight to eating and playing games before ending our night at Maleficent!!!! Mother and I have both been dying to see it and thought it was just great.
So excited to wake up here in the morning!!

I saw Maleficient last weekend and loved it! Can't wait for Sleeping Beauty to come out of the vault in the fall!
I love Savannah, too. I was born and raised near there and still love going down to visit family and friends. My husband and I went to see Maleficent last Saturday. We love all things Disney and have been waiting for it to reach theaters. We thought it was really good and a great twist on the original tale. The actors were beautifully suited for the roles. Have a great week!
