After lounging around most of the morning, we spent the rest of our day down at Tybee. On the way there, we made our daily pit stop by Sonic for Cherry Nerd Slushes. For the thousandth time, I want to say how happy I am NOT to have a Sonic convenient to me at home :-)
It wasn’t crowded mid-week, there was a steady and wonderful breeze, and we really had a lovely time! Mother and I were pretty much able to sit in beach chairs and chat while the littles did this…
That’s the single picture from the day. A sure sign you’ve unplugged and enjoyed just being. We’re venturing out to a new fun place this afternoon and I can’t wait to share the details tomorrow!!

Two weeks until we head to Savannah for the SHS Reunion! We will also visit some of our family who are leaving Savannah to move to Brevard NC. Now we will have only one sibling in Savannah but quite a few cousins and friends remain there. Love the picture of your boys playing in the surf…we love TYB.

We love Sonic Happy hour and their lemon slushes. Speaking of Tybee, I went to a book signing for Mary Kay Andrews today! I was on the front row and could have reached out and touched her! I was the most excited one there!!! Natalie
