Musings

I know y’all would barely recognize CeeCee without her regulation bow.  One of my most frequently asked questions is “where does Sister find them?!?”  Mother makes a few but the Sister loves the Wee One brand for solid color basic bows.  They come in a variety of sizes and colors.  photo 1 Whine o’clock around here last Thursday translated into wine o’clock for moi.  I was kind of crushing on all the Lilly going on and I’m begging Mother to get these darling tassel bracelets listed in our etsy store!   photo 3 My Trader Joes has been slacking in the flower department lately.  This started out as ten stems of tulips on Monday and was a bajenkety mess of just six sad ones by Friday.  No thank you. photo 4 You’ve gotta love a man that not only goes out for din din but also brings home breakfast for the next morning.  Don’t judge the caloric, sugar and fat intake of these two meals.  Just agree that he’s a keeper. photo 5 I am so beyond excited for the premier of the Outlander series on Starz.  That being said, I have no clue if we get Starz seeing as Honey has spent the last week “figuring out” our cable sitch.    I have been looking for this little doggie derrière tape dispenser for my office for ages.  I was so excited to pick him up at the Panama City Beach Target on the way home from Rosemary.  There were a dozen of them so I’m guessing the PCB-ers aren’t as fond as their gold desk accessories as the gals in my hood.  photo 2 (3) Speaking of Rosemary Beach, Sister texted me this pic of myself on the way to screen on the green during beach week.  She thought our back pack chairs were hysterical.  I thought they were uber practical.  And every time we wore them I sang “back pack, back pack”.  (Any Dora fans out there?) In all seriousness, they are some of our favorite beach gear of all time.  They are from Costco and are light enough for the littles to carry their own when we go to the beach.  They have zipper pouches for a few small things, a tiny cooler pouch for a few beverages, a cup holder and a little place for your phone.   photo 2 (4)   Our bills from bat-gate 2014 have started to roll in (I can’t even talk about it) so this Lilly-filled mail day was a welcome arrival!!  I stocked up on all sorts of Trippin & Sippin when Von Maur put it on sale.   photo 1 (4)  I’ve got to jet… Honey has loaded up the bikes for a family trail ride.  (Who are you and what have you done with Amanda?) xoxo

  1. Those are the best bows. I just restocked on them (and tell ya sista) that if she loves the bows the headbands are good too. The backpack chair is amazing. Just back from three weeks at Isle of Palms and I was noticing more people had them. And finally I read a stack of books on my vacay, but my fave was Secret Keeper! OMG it was the best. I know you had raved. But, I need like a whole book discussion now on this.

  2. We have a stock pile of those bows…the best. Sadly 3rd grade has ushered in no longer wearinging bows on a daily basis. And thanks for the vonmaur sale update…off to stock up.

  3. Thanks for sharing the bows, my almost 2 year old is wearing her 10 year old sister's and definitely needs some new ones! Backpack chairs are awesome, only way to go to the beach :)

  4. Love the bracelets!

I also love the bows at Hobby Lobby! Considering we lose a lot of them at "school" I don't mind buying multiple ones. And they have held up very well too!
