For me, election day meant getting up earlier than usual, getting ready and heading out to vote as soon as the polls opened before Honey left for work. (I’m SO excited about this sweater from the boy’s section at JCrew Factory. I got this one and a whole box of other goodies for SO CHEAP!)
And, as for the rest of the day, we met up with a crew of friends for more than four hours of games, laser tag and pizza.
We raced home to get Whit to baseball practice (he’s playing in a tournament in a couple of weeks) and now I’m about to heat up some white chicken chili from the freezer. It sure was fun to have the littles home for a whole day. Makes me even more excited for the impending holidays!!

Love the sweater! What a fun day for the boys.
Cute sweater! I think I want to come hang out with you and your kids at the arcade. I was sporting my "I'm a Georgia Voter" sticker too & in honor of my parent's "election night soup tradition", we had taco soup for dinner. Have a great night!
Love the sweater..and only you could find a gorgeous sweater and look so beautiful on you from the boys' section at J Crew!…I love that Georgia sticker!!!
Funny little story about a similar sweater. I was up early just this morning, enjoying my day off and doing some online shopping before my kids rose. I saw this cute sweater at Lands End that was stripped with an anchor, that I debated purchasing. I decided against it, thinking if I was young and cute I would have gone for it. For some reason you came to mind, thinking that it was in your style. When I opened your email I actually laughed… yup, you can pull off an anchor! Glad you had a great day with boys.
So glad you voted – there are too many in our generation who don't seem to realize how important it is! What a fun way to spend the day for the boys! :-)
I love the sweater! Would it be rude to ask what size you ordered? I think we are about the same size but don't know what that translates to in boys!
THanks!
