This was the last time we were together in 2012. John was at home with Honey.
And for the older and wiser crew, Sister and I with our only cousins – Anne and John (there are lots of them in the family).
On our first day there, my Aunt and Uncle treated us to a lovely cookout at a local park where the littles could just run wild while the adults caught up. There was kickball, football, soccer, a playground, a cool hill with remarkable trees and roots AND an unfruitful alligator hunt to cap off of the fun.
That happened…
The one missing cousin from the pic above… Riley with his girlfriend.
As for the rest of our visit, my Aunt pretty much fed us non-stop while my Uncle took turns dazzling the littles with his menagerie of weapons (retired army) and remote control vehicles.
It’s crazy how a face-time call for a Veteran’s Day project led to a family reunion. I am SO thankful that this visit was possible and truly hope that it happens more often!

Looks like you had such a special time with your family!!!

What a special visit & fun way to end a trip! I am blessed with LOTS of cousins – 22 first cousins on my mother's side alone – and each year it becomes extremely more difficult to see everyone together. So glad you got this time with family! xo
That looks just like Medard Park in Plant City. It's a favorite of mine and my four little ones!
Yes, it is Edward Medard Park! It was very nice.
