Today I’m sharing one of my all time favorite organization projects over at 11 Magnolia Lane as part of their Operation Organization: 2015 edition.
Some time back, I installed Repositionable Chalkboard Vinyl on the insides of my pantry doors. To this day, it is one of the best and easiest DIYs I’ve done and came in at under $8 and 20 minutes for the whole project!!
I keep track of the weekly menu, items needed from the store and include a message to the littles about their snack choices.
It was easy to cut, easy to apply and reposition, easy to write on and easy to wipe clean. And the rest of the family is now trained to add on to the “remember” list as they gobble up their favorite snacks and guzzle down the last of the milk.
Hop over to 11 Magnolia Lane to see the rest!

Our pantries are so tiny that we added wire shelving on the doors but this is a great idea too. I will hop over to see the details!
Love the idea for using chalkboard vinyl on the inside of the doors!
Hi – I am currently re-doing my pantry and love this idea. The reviews on Amazon for this product are not great. Did you have any trouble installing it or wiping it clean? Also, do you use regular chalk or those chalk pens?
Interesting! I've had mine up for almost 3 years with no problems. I didn't have any trouble with installing it. I use a damp paper towel to wipe it clean and I use regular chalk without issue. I guess something could have changed with the product since I bought it, but it's been great for us!
Such a fun idea–we're so glad you shared it with our readers. And I LOVE the "You are what you eat" reminder–I need that one every day!
