Power Smoothie

Y’all, I’ve been making the yummiest power smoothies for the littles and me this past week!  They are SUPER easy. The recipe was created by My Menu Pal for General Mills.  I double it and it fills a mason jar for each of us.

Cinna-Crunch Power Smoothie
Blend all ingredients until smooth:
1/2 cup plain greek yogurt
1 frozen banana (peel before you freeze… I learned the impossible way)
1/4 cup almond butter
1/2 cup Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal
1 cup skim milk (I sub Chocolate fairlife because it’s SO amazing.  And a Coke product :-)  )

Now, these stats are for regular skim milk, but one serving is 21 grams of protein and 5grams of fiber!

I throw them in a mason jar with the Mason Jar Sip & Straw Lid and they are perfect for our on-the-go mornings to swim team practice.
Top Lilly Pulitzer (old), Shorts Target Kid Section, Bracelet Kiel James Patrick
They really fill the littles up all the way through lunch and get they day started off the right track.

Happy sips, y’all!
xoxo

  1. It sounds delicious! We aren't typically big on smoothies, but may have to give this one a try. Happy Friday! xo

  2. I'm so excited to try this recipe. I literally just unpacked a brand new Nutra Ninja last night because my kids were crazy for the pineapple mango smoothies when we stayed at Disney last week. This recipe is a nice departure from all of the fruit smoothies. I love Kiel James Patrick. I have had my eye on the anchor bracelets but can't decide which one! Maybe two?

  3. This sounds delicious! I would love to try this for my kids (and myself :))
I also love the idea of serving it in mason jars! Would you mind me asking where did you find the awesome straw tops?
    Thanks so much for sharing!!
