Roaming About Animal Kingdom

After two days in Hollywood Studios, we opted for Animal Kingdom next! It was a scorcher, but a beautiful day!!!

First things first, bestie M and I took in a liquid breakfast at Dawa Bar while the littles and men had cinnamon rolls and breakfast wraps from the bakery just down the way.

Our first fast pass was for Kali River Rapids. Yippeee!!!! It was HOT and we got WET. Fun times!!!

Next up we paid the yeti a visit at Expedition Everest.

All that fun left us starving and we lucked out with immediate seats at Yak & Yeti on our way to check out the new Harambe Market. The lure of air conditioning and a table was enough to make me pass on Harambe this time, and the Pink Himalayan and lettuce wraps are among my fave WDW eats.

 

 

We wrapped up our fast passes and our stint in Animal Kingdom on the Safari! It’s kind of a must-do.

 

 

In spite of the early afternoon heat, there were still plenty of creatures out and about!

 

 

 

 

We spent the rest of our day poolside back at Wilderness Lodge and dined at in at Whispering Canyon Ranch. It was perfect timing for a little down time!
