The Vintage Swap

A couple of weeks ago bestie P orchestrated a “vintage swap” for her blog readers and insta friends.  I would usually beg out of something like this because, well you know, I don’t have time, I don’t really shop vintage, blah blah blah blah blah.  But since it was HER hosting, I decided “why not” and signed right up.  I got myself to the Goodwill for the very first time ever (except when Sister thought she accidentally donated an entire bolt of brand new fabric and made me go look for it) and was beyond thrilled to not only find the perfect silver revere bowl (needing a little TLC) but also a lovely floor length Christmas plaid skirt for yours truly!!

In no time flat, the little bowl was polished right up (if you’re wondering, I love Wright’s Silver Cream Polish) and on it’s merry way to Anne at Color Links.

Just a few days later, I was blown away with how she styled it!!!!!!!!!!  Her insta feed is chocked full of beautiful images and I knew we’d be fast friends the moment I clicked “follow”.

In the mean time, my very own package arrived from Anne.  The flow blue plate was absolute perfection!!  I immediately knew I wanted to add it to my  master bedroom.  And can we just take a minute to let that stationery soak in?  Yeah, it’s amazing!  She was also a doll to include some darling Christmas tags in my package!!

I couldn’t wait to get this up on my table.  It’s just amazing, no?  I clipped the hydrangea and jasmine from my garden!!  And you can also get a little sneak peek of my new absolutely incredible sheets from Perfect Linens

Be sure to hop on over to bestie P‘s to check out the links to the other participants.  I’m headed there myself right now!
xoxo
