S’more Halloween Fun {Free Printable}

Yesterday Honey and I went to our first parent/teacher conference for first grade armed with a sweet treat for Mrs. B.  And it was a a smashing success around the horn!

Inside the box was all the fixins for s’mores – a sleeve of graham crackers, three Hershey bars and a bag of marshmallows.   I should give credit where credit is due and mention that this idea originated last Halloween as a treat that Sister gave to Bird’s teachers.  The boxes were found at Michael’s (with a coupon, of course) and the 3.25”x8”x3.25” was the perfect size for the contents.

Last year I used the very same tags as bag toppers for individual s’more treats, including two graham crackers, one ghost peep and a mini Hershey’s bar.  The PCP shared them with his class at school and we handed them out to our neighbors at our pre-trick-or-treat pizza shindig.

Now, for the really good stuff… the PCP received a perfectly glowing report from Mrs. B and we left literally beaming with pride.  He’s reading way beyond the expectation, he’s a math whiz and he’s easy to get along with (which resulted in a little too much talking.)  We enjoyed a special trip for ice cream immediately after hearing the great news and he was beyond thrilled to earn NINE DOLLARS for all the “3s” on his report card!!!

Fingers crossed that we have many, many more years of reports like this :-)

  1. It is always gratifying to get good reports!! And the ice cream and money was well deserved. I always enjoy seeing what new gift or "happy" you come up with for the seasons!! Thanks for sharing your ideas with us.

  2. we are soo doing this for miss anna carolines class at preschool!! thank you for such wonderfully creative ideas. I keep meaning to email you about stationary. It has always been my dream to design paper goods and with my background in fashion design I have dabbled with several design interfaces, mainly Illustrator. One day soon I hope to sit down and ask you some specific questions about equipment you worked with etc. I am assuming from your posts and obsurc creativity in this field that is what you did :) happy wednesday friend

  3. Your friend Mary Bess turned me on to your blog. I am a new follower. Good for your child, PCP. My child is not a great student which is OK because he is a super athlete.

  4. Such a cute idea, as usual!!! Thanks for your generosity with your printables and ideas.

    Where did you buy the ghost Peeps? I checked our local grocery store and WalMart today and neither had them.

    THANKS!!

  5. Outstanding! Both kids are so adorable…and they're always smiling. Well, at least for us they are. ;-)
