We get absolutely giddy when schedules align and we are able to tack on a visit to college besties B & B when we take our annual family vacation to Rosemary Beach. I mean, it would be a shame not to seeing as it’s just an easy couple of hours away. These friends ditched Atlanta for life on the water down in Florida before we all started having little ones and couldn’t be happier. We absolutely adore our time with them each year and we love that our littles call their littles friends – even though we live miles and miles away. This is their back yard (I’d trade all that green stuff we just spent a mint on for this any day)!!!! We spent hours paddle boarding, sliding, jumping, swimming, seining, sunning and knee boarding. The same rain that seems to be hovering over Georgia has got Perdido Key covered too. Alas, the littles had just as much fun inside. We even ventured out to see Despicable Me 2!! I cannot tell you how excited I was to be able to celebrate B’s birthday in person for the first time since we were… um… in our twenties. We headed down to Gallery Night in Pensacola and had a great time all around!! Even with all that fun, it was our day at Sand Island that was the unanimous favorite part of our visit. We stayed straight through sunset – swimming, jumping, paddle boarding, grilling, playing baseball and just enjoying the company of these forever friends. Many many thanks to B & B for a memorable three days. We’re all looking forward to 2014!! xoxo

Looked like so much fun was had by all! We spent our vacation this summer in that area and it was beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
Oh this looks like so much fun. What a great vacation. Hugs, Marty
We have been vacationing in Perdido Key every year since 2006. We absolutely love it there and look forward all year to going. I am so jealous of your pics because this year we were not able to make it due to our backyard reno. There is always next year though. So glad you had a wonderful time with friends! I look forward to one day visiting Rosemary Beach.
Looks like a fun time had by all! My fiancé and I LOVE Rosemary Beach! We are actually going for a day date this weekend. I love La Crema-Tapas and Chocolate! So yummy!
