S’more Halloween Fun 2013 {Free Printable}

Sometimes there’s just no reason to reinvent the wheel. For the past couple of years I’ve used some variation of the same S’more Halloween Fun theme and I’m back with the 2013 rendition.

We usually have parent teacher conferences right around Halloween and I hate to go empty handed. I put together these s’more baskets in no time flat and just tied on the printable tag.

Inside we’ve got all the fixins for s’mores – graham crackers, chocolate bars, marshmallows and giant vanilla flavored pumpkin shaped marshmallows! The buckets were $0.99 at Michael’s.

Last year we gave the teachers a very similar kit packaged in white boxes.

And the year before we made individual treats for their class parties and for the goblins at our neighborhood trick-or-treat pre-party..

As for the conference itself, well, we were just so humbled and so very proud of sweet John. We think he’s a great kid, but it sure does mean a lot to hear it from someone who doesn’t have to say it. Mrs. B said he’s doing great academically, but even more importantly, he has a big personality, he’s fun and bright and kind and enjoys learning, and he is a leader among his peers. Be still, my heart…

  1. I just LOVE that idea. What fun for the teachers to get such a sweet reminder (no pun intended) that they are loved and appreciated. I might steal this idea for the grandgirls teachers- xo Diana

  2. Love this!!! You have the BEST ideas:) What kind of paper do you use to print these cut tags and labels? Is it a very heavy weight? And where is the best place to find it!
    Thanks again for the awesome ideas!! Love your blog!

  3. So happy to hear what John's teacher said about him…………but I know it was no surprise to you and Honey. He is quite a remarkable little guy adn we love him!

  4. I saw the ghost marshmallows on sale lately at Walgreens Pharmacy and I'm going to copy your idea for my niece and her family. Where did you find the marshmallow pumpkins? Happy Halloween. Your sons seem like sweet little guys, and I can understand why you would feel so proud of a report like that from John's teacher.
