Happy (day after) Halloween, y’all!! We had such a fun weekend filled with parties, costumes, friends, family, and lots of tricks and treats. Halloween Eve was spent at bestie M’s aunt’s home and it was a spectacular evening all around. I’ve honestly never seen such fabulously done … and tasteful … Halloween decorations! They were super spooky, but not gross and gory. Oh, and every.single.room was decked to the nines! Here’s a little peek inside…
As if the decorations weren’t enough to keep you entertained in and of themselves, there was a caricature artist (that started out at Disney!) AND a psychic!!!
The kid party in the garage was such a nice touch. They had their own buffet and loads of toys, games, puzzles and crafts.
I channeled my very favorite princess for the affair. Sadly none of my peeps wanted anything to do with accompanying me as Prince Charming OR a dwarf. :-)
Instead, I was escorted by Bill Lumbergh of Office Space. HA!
It was an enchanting evening that we won’t soon forget! Yesterday, Sister and her Mister brought the littles over in the Halloween costumes for a lunch of Mummy Dogs and S’mores on the porch.
And last night we were off to our annual Trick or Treat party. This was the year that I gave John full reign of the costume. He was a zombie football lacrosse player AND it was essential that he ditch his cute little monogrammed Halloween bag for the king sized pillow case. The boy is growing up fast. Little brother picked out our third Captain America costume. He had not only outgrown last year’s, but wore it out to the point of rips in the seams.
Our evening started with a yummy chili dinner and all sorts of fabulous apps and cocktails! My brown sugar bacon was a hit :-)
And once darkness fell, we were off to trick or treat. We were excited for another run of the Ghost Host costumes.
It was a fun filled weekend and a great wrap to Halloween month. I can’t wait to start in on Christmas now!!! I hope y’all had wonderfully spooky times as well and that the candy comas don’t last tooooo long.
xoxo

Sounds like a blast! I love that Honey & Whit have hit on costumes that work. ;-) Halloween is always so fun!
The skeletons in her craft room were too, too much! That was positively brilliant. How fun for YOU to get treated to such wonderful creativity. Your mummy dogs were perfection and the little ones looked so sweet by the fire. Great post!
Your aunt’s home was decorated AMAZINGLY!! I love every bit. All those skeletons are SO clever. Thank you for sharing. I’ve gotta make the mummy dogs and your version of s’mores. Definite hits around here, I’m sure!! ;)
The Halloween Parties look like so much fun! Your costume was great!
