Magical Monday {Hollywood Studios + Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam!}

Y’all, I am all mixed up on my days – STILL!  I think last week’s Magical Monday was on Wednesday and this week I’m still off.  At least I’m inching in the right direction :-)

On our last trip we spent one of our days at Hollywood Studios, so excited for the new Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam! holiday party and show.  The park was really festive and I loved the new decorations!

We arrived after lunch and made a few fast passes for our fave rides, caught Rockin Rollercoaster on single rider, and enjoyed a few others in stand-by.  It was so much fun to ride Tower of Terror with bestie S for her first time in 20 years-ish.

I love the baby’s face here…

We checked in for the party around 5:15 – just by luck as we walked off Great Movie Ride and nearly bumped into the podium.

The party was held right at the entrance of Great Movie Ride and had a great atmosphere.  I loved this location!!  There was a variety of sweet and savory snacks and we made a whole dinner out of it.  There were a couple of signature cocktails, my fave being the gingerbread martini, as well as beer, wine, cider and non-alcoholic drinks.  They also gave out neat little glasses that turn Christmas lights (and fireworks!) into things like reindeer, snowmen and elves.  We brought them home and have had so much fun with them!!

Santa Goofy made a quick stop by each table, which was a nice perk.  He was super cute!

As we exited the party and headed to the reserved show viewing location, we were all treated to the cutest, yummiest gingerbread cookies.

We sat with my sweet friend Marissa for the party as well!  We finally met in real life a couple of months ago and were so excited to find out our Christmas trips were the same weekend!!

We thought the show itself was really cute!!  I’ll go so far as to say we enjoyed it more than the Osborne lights!  It was a fun mix of projections, lasers, fireworks and music, all with a Christmas story line.

Great garland! Christmas Day is almost here, but Jolly Old Saint Nick is nowhere to be found. Luckily, Wayne and Lanny are on the job… and they won’t rest until the Big Guy’s back at the North Pole. Consider this a “cranberry red” situation—classified “Kringle Level 9!”

Come along for holiday hijinks as the top-notch team encounters moments of seasonal cheer and togetherness. Their snowy search culminates with an epic showdown in Halloween Town from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, as Wayne and Lanny are forced to rescue Santa—and save Christmas in the process!

We left the park singing Christmas tunes under the snow on Buena Vista Street.

It was a magical and entertaining night!!

Overall, we really enjoyed the holiday party.  Considering that we made a whole meal out of it, had a few cocktails, met Santa Goofy AND had a reserved place for the show we felt like it was a fabulous experience.

I’m off to the baby’s class party today and have GOT to finish shopping for the men in the family.  They are so hard!

  1. What a super fun party!

    I still have a gift for my Pops (the men ARE so hard!) and triplet nephews – what on earth does one buy three 4 year olds?! xoxo
