Deck the Halls 2017 {Kitchen} + Lynch Creek Farm Wreath Giveaway

Note: The wreath giveaway is now closed.  Congratulations to Pat Hutchison!!!  Please email me ASAP with your shipping address so that I can hook you up with timely delivery of your wreath.

I’m back today with all of the Christmas things in the kitchen.  It is the heart of our home and I love making it festive and merry this time of year!

Over the sink I have a live wreath courtesy Lynch Creek Farm this year!  They have sponsored the 12 Days of Christmas home tour the last two years in a row and I have been so happy with the wreath they let me choose both times.  Keep reading for a giveaway of this one – called the Bah Humbug!!

I love my little kitchen tree with Spode Christmas Tree ornaments collected years ago. I haven’t added one in ages because I just don’t see them very much any more – and my tree is pretty full already.  The Happy Everything plate is a year-round favorite and my candle of choice this year is “Wilderness Lodge / Sherwood Forest” (same scent, just recently renamed) from Spireside Candles. (affiliate link)

Another nook gets more Christmas pics of the boys as well as some artwork from John.  I love little things like this <3

I switch out most of my display plates with items from my Christmas china.

One of the things I love to do when decorating for the holidays is to have lots of treats around.  The naughty snack this year is Peppermint JoJo’s from Trader Joes (yummmmm!) and the nice snack are clementines.  I love both :-)

The coffee and cocoa bar doesn’t change too much from Halloween to Christmas.  I just add in some pirouettes and candy canes!

Over in the breakfast area I cover the picture with black repositionable paper and use this place to tape up Christmas cards as they start coming in.  {See all the details here >> Christmas Card Display} Overflow goes on the mudroom board, but I love having them in the kitchen where were spend so much time.

The plaid plates are from my shop (currently only have a few items available but hope to bring these back after Christmas) and the plaid pillows are from Home Goods.  They seem to have a slightly different pattern each year and I LOVE them!  Since we use this table a lot, the decor usually ends up on the dining room table…. but I know you didn’t come here to see that.  :-)

As mentioned, Lynch Creek Farm has been a gracious sponsor of our home tour and provided each stop with an item of their choice to use in their decor!  This year they have offered up a giveway for EACH of us to use with our readers.  I will be giving away the Bah Humbug fresh wreath that I have hanging over my  kitchen window.

To ensure that the winner has time to enjoy their wreath, this giveaway will run through Saturday and I will choose a winner Sunday.  There are FIVE ways to enter.  Please leave a separate comment for each of these entry items for the best chance at winning:

1. Leave a comment letting me know where you would hang your Bah Humbug wreath.

2. Sign up for the Dixie Delights email.  If you’re already signed up, just leave a comment saying so.

  1. Hi Amanda, Love your kitchen tour. Last year I did the naughty and nice clear cannisters and loved them; doing them again this year. I’m such a copier of yours. Appreciate being able to enter the Lynch Creek Farm wreath giveaway. I would hang it in our greenhouse window in the kitchen. Thanks for being such an inspiration.

  2. Hi again, Amanda. I signed up again for e-mail (think I’m already signed up but just in case); already follow you on Instagram and am always glad when you post and when you do the Instastories; followed Lynch Creek Farm on Instagram; and followed Delightful Destinations on FB. 9. Love your kitchen all dressed for Christmas Amanda!!! I had to chuckle at the “Naughty and Nice” jars! Too cute! Love your wreath on the window..it must be so great to see that wreath while you do the not so happy chore of dishes…so it must make that chore a very pleasant experience…Love that Bah-Humbug wreath…but it truly is no Bah Humbug…but the Good Spirit of the Season as the ending of the classic A Christmas Carol shows! Merry Christmas one and all!
