Ringing in 2018

We stayed close to home last night, ringing in the new year with neighbors at our club!

The night started with a cocktail hour and then a five course dinner and wrapped up with dancing!! While the adults were entertained upstairs, the kids had their very own party downstairs.

This was at the very end of the first part of our night just after 10PM. John was invited to a friend’s house so it was just the three of us. We were all so hot and tired from dancing because the kids joined us upstairs for the last few songs. They were all SO cute on the dance floor and you know that sort of thing is right up Whit’s alley.

We retired back to a neighbor’s house for the rest of the evening. These four ladies have all played such a special role in my life – some from as far back as before kids, one I shared my job with at Coke, one who I grew very close to this year over the loss of her son, and one who I am lucky enough to have within shouting distance of my house!
