Hit the Highlights at the Epcot International Festival of the Arts

Back for its second sensational year, the Epcot International Festival of the Arts brings world-class cuisine, visual art and live entertainment all over the park!  Running now through February 19, the 2018 Festival is open 7 days a week.  Here’s a peek at our favorite parts of the event…

First things first, the food!!  Again this year, we were absolutely blown away by the careful and incredibly artful presentation of each and every dish.  Be sure to pick up a Festival guide when you enter the park because it outlines each and every offering.  Here were our favorites.  Note that every single one other than the charcuterie plate counts as a snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan!

Gallery Bites: A Trio of Hors d’Oeuvres at The Painter’s Palette (a favorite!)

White Chocolate Figment Puzzle on an Artist Palette also at The Painter’s Palette (kid fave)

Roasted Pork Roulade with Butternut Squash Purée, Marble Potatoes and Baby Carrots with a Red Wine Sauce featuring Melissa’s Produce at The Artist’s Table (American Adventure)

Pan-Seared Scallop with Chorizo, Roasted Red Pepper Coulis and a Parmesan Crisp at The Artist’s Table (American Adventure)

Callebaut Belgian Sipping Chocolate: Dark Chocolate with Chambord at The Artist’s Table (American Adventure) (Mommy fave)

Chirashi Sushi and Haupia Pearl: Salmon, Tuna and Yuzu Miso with Coconut Tapioca Pudding in Japan

Charcuterie Palette with Artisan Cured Meats, Nueske’s Smoked Beef and Cheese at The Masterpiece Kitchen

Now, over at the Refreshment Port, a festival offering was the Croissant Doughnut filled with Pastry Cream and topped with Colored Pearls at the Refreshment Port.  We didn’t need that much sweet so went with the old standby – the cronut.  These are SO good!

Also at the Refreshment Port, we did the fries with the cheese soup from Canada and cheese curds.  This was SO good!

In addition to the food, you will find artists, seminars, workshops and artful kiosks all over the park, as well as live entertainment each night.  There is screen printing in Future World….

We love doing our part at the paint by number mural at the Showcase Plaza.

The mural changes each week during the festival once complete.  This week’s will eventually unfold as Figment!

The art booths are fantastic.  We saw so many beautiful pieces and many had the artist present to talk with and sign their work.

You can literally step into some famous art pieces with fun photo-ops around the park.

And, passholders should be sure to pick up their print in the American Adventure building.  You will need your actual AP card and ID.

My family absolutely loves Epcot festivals.  To only be in its second year and already be this good, I think this one will become as big as Food & Wine and Flower & Garden!
