Magic Kingdom’s Harmony Barber Shop

Many guests never realize that tucked just off of Main Street USA in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is the tiny, old-fashioned Harmony Barber Shop!  It is just steps away from the hustle and bustle of park crowds and is one of many details that makes Main Street so uniquely magical.

The quaint inside has just a few seats and you will definitely want an advance reservation.

Whit has been wanting to try it ever since he discovered it many trips ago while watching the horses in the barn next door.  The timing didn’t work out until last month!

Hair cuts run $18 for kids and $19 for adults. There is also a First Haircut Package for $25 that includes commemorative Mickey ears and a certificate.  Getting “pixie dusted” is free and, in all times I’ve been to Disney, I finally did it for the first time!

Speaking of other little known Town Square secrets, there is a barn just next door.  You can usually peek in and see Main Street vehicles as well as a horse or two!

Look closely and you can see the big black horse in the middle of the screen!

Suggesting special details like a hair cut to your Disney vacation is just one way I help make magical memories for my clients.  It is something I have loved doing for my own family for a long, long time and can hardly believe that I get to do it as a job now!

  1. We did this with our son when he was 8 months! It was seriously such a fun a Dubuque experience! We can’t wait to take our next one there in October!! ☺️

      1. Awww, I know. There was a little one having his first hair cut when we were there. And a teenager getting a cute bun and pixie dust.

  2. This was a fun experience for my 4 year old when his sister’s were getting pampered at Bibbidi. I love that photographers were there to capture the experience on our photopass since I couldn’t be at both places. There were fun toys to keep the attention of little ones too!
