St. Patrick’s Day Door Hangers

We won’t make it home to Savannah for St. Patrick’s Day this year so I’ve got a long list of fun ways to celebrate here!  First things first, the St. Patrick’s day door hangers.  Y’all know how I love my seasonal door hangers…

Bronwyn Hanahan St. Patrick’s Day Door Hanger

This Lucky shamrock from  Bronwyn Hanahan is one of my very favorites.  It just looks so fun and festive from the street and makes for such a cheerful entry.

I replaced my worn out tri-color flag with two new Irish Flag Buntings this year.  It is hard to find large Irish flags in this style and I thought two were much better suited to the space than the one I’ve originally hung up over the years.  {Note, this is the exact link I purchased my flags from but the colors are in a different order than what is pictured.  How odd!  I didn’t notice that until now.}

You may also have noticed my missing pots.  Well… I finally got some pansies planted in them a couple of weeks ago.  When I went out to take my photos this morning, one of the pots was gone.  It was laying about 5 feet away behind a shrub with all of the dirt and pansies dumped out on the ground.  So bizarre.  It is time to put a new coat of paint on the pots, and the pansies were looking awful and scraggly anyway, so I just carted them off and swept up the porch.  Here’s to hoping fern weather arrives soon!

DIY St. Patrick’s Day Door Hanger

On the friends entry I have a DIY Shamrock door hanger that Mother and I made eons ago.  I hang this one with a suction cup hook.

Stay tuned for more of our St. Patrick’s Day festivities.  Which will almost entirely consist of food…  :-)

  1. I adore your door hangers! Very strange about your pots…

    I’m hoping for fern weather soon as well – can you believe we’ll have lows in the 20s again this week?!

    Hope your week is off to a great start! xo

    1. Yes, strange indeed. LOL. I figure a couple of boys I know had something to do with it. Honestly, I am over the cold and rain. At least cold and sun is slightly more bearable. :-)
