CeeCee’s Caboodle {Girly Gift}

CeeCee loves all things girly, so for her last birthday I was so excited to get her an old-school style Caboodle! I had a pink one back in the day – decorated with paint pens and filled with all sorts of early 90’s makeup treasures.

I used my Cricut to add a bright pink monogram to both the front and inside on the flip up mirror. (Note: I had a really hard time getting the vinyl to adhere inside so it may not last.)

She already has all sorts of chap sticks and hair accessories so I thought I’d add some makeup brushes to play with as well. I knew she’d LOVE this mermaid set!! I mean, who wouldn’t?!

As suspected, it was a huge hit with the birthday girl!

  1. That little fancy pants, crossing her hand over to apply the brush, is too darn cute!😉
    I gave the fatter mermaid brush to three little ones at Christmas and they loved them. Now, I have to track down the set.
    What a darling gift idea to put it all together! 💘 The monogram is a nice touch. I’m sure your tiny princess uses it every day.☺

  2. It tickles me so much to read your posts about Miss CeeCee…am I the only one who thinks she looks more like you than she does her own mama?

  3. The perfect gift! My cousin and I had the early sixties version of the Caboodle Kit as it was called and loved them so. They only came in a cream colored vinyl, I believe, and had a picture on the front of two girls carrying their kits. And, on the front side there was a big metal clasp. Ah, the good ol’ days!
