Easy Easter Centerpiece

I thought I’d pop in today and share the easy Easter centerpiece I’m using on my kitchen table this Spring. Sister and CeeCee helped me sort through my Easter storage tub and put this together using things I already had.

Since we dine at the kitchen table almost every evening, I like to have something that is very easy to move out of the way. This definitely fits the bill.

First, I put a foam block in the bowl to give the bunny the right height. I used hot glue to secure him to the foam and will just peel it off after Easter.

The footed bowl was something I have had from the Magnolia line at Target. Sister gave me the faux chocolate bunny years ago. The paper shreds were from a package I received in the mail (and saved). The eggs were from the dollar spot.

Funny story… the afternoon that we put this together I ran out for carpool. When I got home, the bunny (not yet glued down) had been ripped from his bowl and was lying across the kitchen on the floor. I imagine Elsa was pretty disappointed to find a plastic bunny when she was expecting to finally wrap her lips around chocolate. Ha!

I pulled out the cute bunny ear napkin rings (I think Target dollar spot last year) and we’ve been using my bunny salad plates as well. They were from Ross Simons many years ago, and the napkins were from World Market a couple of years ago.

You can find the tutorial on my fabric bunny bunting and a video in this post:

Hoppy Easter season!
