Shamrock Welcome

I’ve had my shamrock door hangers out for a couple of weeks already. It’s been freezing cold here but something about St. Patrick’s Day means the beginning of Spring is here for me.

Bronwyn Hanahan St. Patrick’s Day Door Hanger

This Lucky shamrock from  Bronwyn Hanahan is one of my very favorites.  It just looks so fun and festive from the street and makes for such a cheerful entry.

I replaced my worn out tri-color flag with two new Irish Flag Buntings this year.  It is hard to find large Irish flags in this style and I thought two were much better suited to the space than the one I’ve originally hung up over the years.  {Note, this is the exact link I purchased my flags from but the colors are in a different order than what is pictured.  How odd!  I didn’t notice that until now.}

My violas are still looking kind of puny, but hey – they are alive!

DIY St. Patrick’s Day Door Hanger

On the friends entry I have a DIY Shamrock door hanger that Mother and I made eons ago.  I hang this one with a suction cup hook.

Speaking of Spring, my tulips are all in bloom! We planted them in December and seeing them pop up was everything.

Happy March, y’all!!
