Happy, happy Easter to you and yours! We started this glorious day at mass, with family and friends and classmates and team members. While we enjoyed celebrating Easter at some amazing churches on the road the last two years, there is nothing more special than doing so with your own village.
Over all the earth You reign on high. Every mountain stream, every sunset sky.
After mass, the boys dove into their Easter baskets. We did a much bigger hunt (price wise) than usual, so baskets had some needed items (socks and water bottles for sports), xbox gift cards, passport covers for Canada and Alaska this summer, and a few pieces of candy. They were excited nonetheless!
Most of our meal prep was done on Saturday, so today we sat back and enjoyed family and food. Daddy-O’s blushing mimosas were a big hit. I need him to share the recipe soon! We were joined for a long, gorgeous afternoon by Sister’s family and Honey’s mom. It was the perfect day.
