On My Bedside {The Other Woman}

I recently read The Other Woman by Sandie Jones. I didn’t read the back of the book and went into this one blind. In the end, that worked in my favor because I had no idea what was happening for a good ways into the book. When I figured it out I thought WOW! This IS twisted. I definitely recommend this one as a beach bag thriller. It’s a quick and easy read and different from what I thought it would be.

If you want to go in “blind” don’t read this spoiler…

HE LOVES YOU: Adam adores Emily. Emily thinks Adam’s perfect, the man she thought she’d never meet.

BUT SHE LOVES YOU NOT: Lurking in the shadows is a rival, a woman who shares a deep bond with the man she loves.

AND SHE’LL STOP AT NOTHING: Emily chose Adam, but she didn’t choose his mother Pammie. There’s nothing a mother wouldn’t do for her son, and now Emily is about to find out just how far Pammie will go to get what she wants: Emily gone forever.

What’s on your bedside? Bonus points if it’s too good to put down! I need to set up a new wait list at the library. I’m reading a Karin Slaughter book and, sadly, it isn’t keeping my attention like they usually do.

  1. I just read Woman on the Edge by Samantha Bailey. It’s in that woman-focused thriller genre. Might be one to add to your list. 🙂

  2. I just finished Behind Closed Doors (B. A. Paris), and have just started My Dear Hamilton. Enjoying it so far – historical fiction being my favorite. xo

  3. I just finished Never Have I Ever by Joshilyn Jackson…I’ve read a Lot of thrillers but this is the best one in recent memory…so good…lots of twists and turns….couldn’t put it down…

  4. Big Lies in a Small Town by Diane Chamberlain has been one of my most recent favorites! I read it in one sitting, it was so good! I also loved Becoming Mrs. Lewis by Patti Callahan Henry- it’s a story about the wife of C.S. Lewis, who was writer herself. It took a few chapters to get into the story, but it was well worth it in the end!

  5. I got this book at library from your recommendation and I read it in one sitting!! Couldn’t put it down! Heading to get another one of her books! I love discovering a different author that someone recommends.
