Happy Hour {Empress Windsor Garden}

Happy Friday, friends! I’m checking in from week 7 “safe at home”. I’m going to keep going here until I share all the fabulous cocktail creations I’ve been working on at home. We’re still working our way through the Empress Gin recipes and this Windsor Garden cocktail was light and refreshing!

I told y’all when I started this series that I was taking my craft cocktail creations seriously. This week’s required picking fresh herbs from my garden. Luckily I planted all of the necessary ingredients. :-)

Empress Windsor Garden

Meet your new favourite cocktail. Between an impressive array of fresh herbs and a delicate hint of lemon, the Windsor Garden is like sipping on spring.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Empress 1908 Gin
  • 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • basil, thyme, rosemary and mint leaves

Method

Lightly muddle herbs and shake ingredients over ice. Strain into a stemless wine glass with ice. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary.

If you’re a lightweight like me, you can always double the lemon juice and simple syrup!

  1. Hello Amanda. I don’t see the answer to yesterday’s puzzle. There is an ad that I closed and another popped up but it doesn’t look as if the answer is hiding behind the ad. Could you repost it. Thanks, we are really enjoying your puzzles. Thanks again.

    1. Hi, I didn’t post an answer – it’s not that there is an ad covering it. I couldn’t figure it out and neither could my family. It’s either a dud or too hard for me! Sorry!

  2. Love your posts. You have kept us happy between solving puzzles and lovely libations. However the answer to yesterday’s puzzle is covered by an ad I can’t get rid of. Please let us know the answer again.
