Shopping Savannah 2022

I shared all of the fun we had in Kentucky for the second half of Spring Break 2022 on social media, but I took an early week trip to Savannah! John was off to the beach with friends, Honey and Whit had tee times each day, and I spent some absolutely wonderful one on one time with my parents! Everyone in the family was SO happy with their choices. :-)

We took long walks down the dock, enjoyed lazy mornings over coffee and hot tea AND did a whole lot of shopping and eating. Daddy-O chauffeured us around for three days, providing front door drop offs, meal stops, parcel storage, and an overall excellent service. It was just like the good old days where he’d patiently spend his entire Saturday moving from bench to bench down Oglethorpe Mall holding our bags. I thought I’d share some of our favorites.

Seventh Heaven Antiques

Seventh Heaven has been listed in every Savannah trip report I’ve written since the beginning of this blog. They moved to a really nice, spacious location on Thunderbolt and it immensely increased my shopping enjoyment level. This one is a MUST stop!

Bonaventure Blues

Bonaventure Blues is located in a charming house just down the alley way from Seventh Heaven. They have some cute Savannah merchandise and a fun workshop in the back where you can pick up DIY supplies or even take a class. Mother and a friend made oyster shells like the one in the kit pictured – I just haven’t had a chance to share the one she sent me!

Capital Bee Co

This is another must stop for me! I just love the owners and adore everything in side. The highlight for me is the honey bar. This time I picked up a chocolate honey and I cannot wait to try it with strawberries. I also got a fun cocktail kit. They have a lot of bee inspired merchandise and other lowcountry items and gifts. Capital Bee is in the historic district.

Paris Market

Paris Market, located on Broughton Street, is another one that has been on the list since the beginning of the blog. The merchandise can be quirky and is hit or miss BUT it is a fun shopping experience even just to browse. No matter if I find a item to bring home or not, I always stop at the cafe. Our favorites are the French Garden Iced Tea, Frozen French Hot Chocolate, iced sugar cookies (from Two Smart Cookies, which has made my list many times) and macaroons.

Chocolat by Adam Turoni

Chocolat by Adam Turoni is another shopping experience. You choose hand made chocolates from the most unique presentations. We each chose one and all were divine. This is on Broughton Street and easy to hit after Paris Market. There are tons of favorites along this strip.

We popped in a few places that I failed to photograph, including One Fish Two Fish and the Lilly Store. These two are on Whitaker Street, along with a few other cute shops.

Merchants on Bee

Merchants on Bee is a booth style antique market. Their things weren’t antique-y enough for me but it was a fun browse.

Byrd’s Cookie Co

My family LOVES Byrd’s! I’ve shared it here many, many times and don’t make a trip to Savannah without stopping in for bags to refill our cookie jar. This time, I also carried home a few fun items to serve at our spring party and a hostess gift.

Tapley’s Mercantile

Tapley’s is a fun booth style antique market with lots of great things! They had some neat food items and, of course, all of the fun antiques and junk you find in stores like this. I could browse a store like this for hours – and Mother and I nearly did that until Daddy-O texted us that we must return to our carriage for lunch.

I’ll check in tomorrow with our eating – we did a lot of it!
