On each of our six stays at Disney’s Riviera Resort, one of the highlights was dinner at Topolino’s Terrace. This beautiful restaurant offers stunning rooftop views, a delicious menu and exceptional service.
The signature, rooftop restaurant is a true experience, prepared at the exclusive expo kitchen or wood-burning grill. Pair your meal with a glass of wine from the impressive collection sourced from the Mediterranean coast. Feast your eyes on the stunning visual aesthetic, a modern interpretation of the textures, colors, carved details and stonework found in ancient villages along the Riviera.
The lounge and rooftop are accessible only with a reservation. The cocktails are perfectly prepared and feel just spectacular with such great views. My favorite is the Pomegranate Paradiso and Honey loved the Modern Fashioned, with it’s branded Riviera ice cube! From this vantage point you can see from Animal Kingdom to Hollywood Studios.
Not only is dinner delicious, but just look how beautifully they prepared every single dish. We were able to try a number of things in our two dinners here.
Antipasto – Honey reports that the Olives Marinées and seasonal soups are delicious. We ALL agree the Ricotta is the star and can’t be missed. The Beets are gorgeous and delicious if you enjoy them! Whit always orders the burrata and has yet to share it. :-)
Starters – Gnocci is divine!
Pastas – The Rigatone is the dinner choice of my boys. Both love it! The Lobster Linguine is absolutely divine. Linguine Scampi was my favorite entree, but is not on the menu as of today.
Entrees – The Sole is my number one choice and I don’t think I can ever stray from it again. Honey loves the French Veal Chop and Filet.
Enhancements – We love the brussels sprouts and broccolini, based on whatever is current.
Dessert – The Warm Valrhona Chocolate Cake dessert is worth leaving room for. I didn’t the first few times here, but made a point to on our last dinner and will never leave Topolino’s again without it!
I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention this absolutely stunning views from the rooftop terrace. I highly recommend arriving early or staying afterwards for a cocktail or cappuccino while soaking in the birds-eye view of the resort.
Fitting in a meal at Topolino’s is not always logistically feasible but, as always, I work individually with each and every client family to ensure we strike everything off the bucket list in a thoughtful, purposeful manner!
