I’m Amanda, a Savannah girl who has called Atlanta home for most of my adult life, and I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a wife, mom, travel advisor, lifelong planner and firm believer that there is almost always something worth celebrating.
I started Dixie Delights in 2010 as a place to share the things I love, and while a lot has changed since then, that really hasn’t. Around here you’ll find our home and the projects that have filled it, travels near and far, parties and holidays, favorite recipes, creative projects and plenty of everyday life along the way.

Decorate
Our 1964 fixer-upper has been a labor of love for years, with plenty of projects, renovations and before-and-afters along the way. From big room makeovers to the little details that make a house feel like home, you can find it all in my HOME TOUR.
And around here, every season deserves a little something. I love decorating for holidays throughout the year, with Halloween and Christmas usually getting the full treatment. HOLIDAY DECOR
Travel
Travel has always been a huge part of our family life, and these days it is also my profession. You’ll find years of trips, tips and firsthand experiences throughout Dixie Delights, from favorite weekends close to home to Disney vacations, cruises and adventures around the world.
Atlanta has been home for decades, so I have plenty of favorite places to eat, shop and explore around town. VISIT ATLANTA

Celebrate
If there is one thing that has remained constant throughout all these years of Dixie Delights, it’s that I love a reason to celebrate. Birthdays and big milestones certainly count, but so do Friday nights, football games, holidays, good news and having friends over for a cocktail.
