Savannah: Beach Day + A Winner

The clouds parted and we were able to enjoy a long and lively day at the beach!!  Our toes hit the sand at about nine thirty in the morning, and by ten o’clock, the baby had completely lost his swim trunks.  Yes, you read that right.  When the PCP came running up, laughing hysterically to tell Mother and I that the baby lost his britches we didn’t believe him for a minute.  But when Daddy-O started frantically waving his arms off in the distance, we quickly learned it was true.  Luckily I had a pair of gym shorts in the bag from who knows when.

Daddy-O spent most of his time helping the littles ride the waves in on their little body boards.

The littles collected countless tiny hermit crabs in the tide pools.  Much to their dismay, I insisted that all shells be returned to the ocean.  The last thing we need are little crabs running around the place.  There were also quite a few very large (and very ugly) horseshoe crabs out today.

We hit Islands Mini Golf right before supper.  The littles adore this place so I snapped up a couple of their Living Social deals earlier in the week.

Perhaps even more than the golf itself, they love fishing balls out of the “water hazards” (as the PCP likes to call them).

paperjunk-lc said… I’ve pinned, followed and liked! I’d love the large wooden monogram for the front door or to put on top of canvas…can’t decide which!
