Happy Hump Day, y’all!! I spent my day running around like a crazy person getting ready for the baby’s baseball team party tonight and Honey’s 40th this weekend. In between all that craziness, the highlight of my day was cheering on my two precious boys in their school marathon!! This is a huge event at their school where the fastest boy and girl in every class take to the track to compete. The entire school lines the track and, along with loads of parents, hoots and hollers for their classmates. John has qualified AND placed every single year since Kindergarten, and Whit was thrilled to join in the fun this year after watching brother from the sidelines!! This year John came in fourth after a slow start and Whit was “Mommy, did you SEE me??? Guess what? I got NEXT TO LAST!!!!!!!” after not one but TWO falls. HAHA. Regardless, Honey and I were there to cheer them on every step of the way and are so very proud of them.
