Passing Time at Disney {Giveaway}

One of our favorite ways to quickly pass the time while waiting in line at Disney is to play games.  Sometimes it is as simple as I-Spy, rock-paper-scissors, or drawing letters on the littles backs with our finger and having them guess correctly.  But other times we’d scrounge around in our backpack for a scrap receipt and a pen to play tic-tac-toe or dot-to-dot.  No matter what, we try to avoid electronics so that we can be completely immersed in the Disney magic.  And that is precisely when this idea was born…

We carried these tic-tac-toe and dot-to-dot notepads in our backpack on our last couple of Disney trips and they were a huge hit!!  Honey and I especially loved that the littles could play together and entertain themselves while we did our best to linger longer at meals.  And let me be honest, Honey and I had it out ourselves in an intense dot-to-dot battle.

  33. Hi Amanda…love your blog and have followed you for a few years. We are a Disney family who loves to read all of your trip reports. We’ll be there in 5 says. We’re also teachers third grade and high school. I am very sorry for what your family went through last year. I can not imagine ever treating a child the way your son and classmates were treated. There are many of us that love working with children. I’ll be starting my 32nd year in a few weeks.

  39. We just got back from Disney, and these would’ve been great to have in those lines. Can’t tell you how many times I looked over and saw my teen and pre-teen on their phones, passing the time. I subscribe to your blog (it was an inspiration for several items we took along- painted TOMS, Lilly-inspired ears, and Dumbow Shoppe band bows), and I follow you on Instagram.
